Singapore - INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY (PG13) unlocks the door to no. 1 with a US$484,226 gross from 31 screens.
JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE (PG) drops to 2nd place after three weeks. It has now outgrossed STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (PG13), which is in its 4th week. The tally for both films stand at S$4,551,058 and US$4,486,912 respectively.
Other top ten debuts include DARKEST HOUR (PG) (US$79,691, including sneaks) and LEGEND OF THE DEMON CAT 妖猫传 (PG13) (estimated US$58,029).
FATHER FIGURES (NC16), NAMIYA (PG13), HOSTILES (NC16), MOLLY'S GAME (NC16) and THE OUTLAWS (NC16) (Lido exclusive) are the other debuts.
On the art house circuit, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME (R21) opens exclusively at the Projector with an incredibly high US$15,653. Advance sales has been selling out since sales began with new sessions being added. THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER (M18) opens exclusively at the Arts House.
